The thermal stability of compounds 1-3 was studied by thermal gravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analyses ( DTA). The single-crystal X-ray data shows that the Pb2+-ions have coordination numbers of six and contain the rarely holodirected geometries.Item Holodirected coordination sphere around lead(II) in three-dimensional polymeric structure; New precursor for preparation of lead oxide sulfate nano-structures(Elsevier, 2014-09-25) Akhbari, Kamran; Beheshti, Saeideh; Morsali, Ali; Büyükgüngör, Orhan; Yılmaz, Veysel Turan; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Kimya Bölümü.; 0000-0002-2849-3332; L-7238-2018; 7006269202A new lead(II) three-dimensional coordination polymer, [Pb-2(mu(3)-ANS)(2)(mu(2)-Cl)(2)(H2O)(2)](n) (1) [ANS(-) = 4-amino-1 -naphthalenesulfonateb has been synthesized and characterized. The single-crystal X-ray data of compound 1 shows only one type of Pb-II ion with coordination number of six, the lead atom has distorted octahedral coordination sphere containing stereo-chemically inactive electron lone pair. Reaction conditions, such as temperature, time, concentration and initial reagents play important roles in the size, morphology and crystal growth of the final products. The nano-sized PbBr2 and PbO were prepared from the calcination of the nano-structured PBB at vacuum and air atmosphere. The structure of PBB was determined by X-ray crystallography, while nano-structural materials were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Thermal stability of bulk and nano-sized particles of PBB was studied and compared with each other.Item Sonochemical syntheses and characterization of a new nano-sized 2-D lead(II) coordination polymer as precursor for preparation of PbBr(OH) nano-structure(Taylor & Francis, 2010) Sadeghzadeh, Homa; Morsali, Ali; Büyükgüngör, Orhan; Yılmaz, Veysel Turan; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Kimya Bölümü.; 0000-0002-2849-3332; L-7238-2018; 7006269202Nano-particles of a new 2-D Pb(II) coordination polymer, [Pb(4-pyc)(Br)(H2O)]n (1) (4-Hpyc = 4-pyridinecarboxylic acid), were synthesized by a sonochemical method. Crystal structure of 1 was determined by X-ray crystallography. PbBr(OH) nano-structure was obtained by the calcination of nano-particles of 1 at 400 degrees C.Item Sonochemical syntheses of strawberry-like nano-structure mixed-ligand lead(II) coordination polymer: Thermal, structural and X-ray powder diffraction studies(Elsevier, 2010-03-22) Sadeghzadeh, Homa; Morsali, Ali; Büyükgüngör, Orhan; Yılmaz, Veysel Turan; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Kimya Bölümü.; 0000-0002-2849-3332; L-7238-2018; 7006269202Nano-structure of a new Pb(II) two-dimensional coordination polymer, {[Pb(2-pyc)(N-3)(H2O)]n (1), 2-Hpyc = 2-pyridinecarboxylic acid} was synthesized by a sonochemical method. The new nano-structure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. Compound 1 was structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and consists of two-dimensional polymeric units. The thermal stability of compound 1 was studied by thermal gravimetric and differential thermal analyses and compared. PbO nano-powder was obtained by calcination of the nano-structure of compound 1 at 400 degrees C. This study demonstrates the coordination polymers may be suitable precursors for the preparation of nano-scale materials and dependent on their packing they may produce different and interesting morphologies.Item Sonochemical syntheses of two nano-sized lead(II) metal-organic frameworks; application for catalysis and preparation of lead(II) oxide nanoparticles(Elsevier, 2014-05-11) Hashemi, Lida; Morsali, Ali; Büyükgüngör, Orhan; Khavasi, Hamid Reza; Ashouri, Fatemeh; Bagherzadeh, Mojtaba; Yılmaz, Veysel Turan; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi/Kimya Bölümü.; 0000-0002-2849-3332; L-7238-2018; 7006269202Nanostructures of the porous three-dimensional coordination polymers, [Pb(4-bpdh)(NO3)(H(2)0)](n) (HWITI-1), and [Pb(4-bpdh)(NO3)](n). (HMTI-2), {4-bpdh = 2,5-bis(4-pyridy1)-3,4-diaza-2,4-hexadiene}, have been synthesized by a sonochemical process at different concentrations and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. Lead(11) oxide nanoparticles were prepared from thermal decomposition in oleic acid and direct calcination of compounds HIVITI-11 and H1VM-2 at different temperatures. The results of this study indicated that the size of the coordination polymer precursor and temperature correlates to the particle size of the formed lead(II) oxide nanoparticles. Also results show that a decrease in the particles size of compounds leads to a decrease in the particles size of the Pb0. In other hand decrease in size of compounds lead to increase in catalysis activity too. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. Hpyc = 2-pyridine-carboxylic acid] was prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, powder XRD diffraction and IR spectroscopy. Compound 1 was structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and one-dimensional coordination polymer with coordination environment of PbNO6. The thermal stability of compound 1 showed that compound 1 decomposes at 110-500 degrees C and the final product is PbO. This polymeric precursor has been used to make PbO nano-particles using two different surfactants. The new nano-structure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray powder diffraction. This study demonstrates that the coordination polymers may be suitable precursors for the preparation of nanoscale materials.
