Item Mathematical model for estimation of dynamic losses of grain oriented 3% SiFe toroidal wound cores up to 1 kHz(Elsevier, 2003-09-15) Moses, Anthony John; Derebaşı, Naim; Küçük, İlker; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Fizik Bölümü.; 0000-0003-2546-0022; AAI-2254-2021; 11540936300; 6602910810The total loss per cycle was previously formed as P/f congruent to k(0) + k(1) f + k(2) f(0.5) for 3% SiFe in the range of 0 less than or equal to f less than or equal to 100Hz. A mathematical model for core losses including the skin effect is improved using Matlab(TM) up to 1 kHz induction frequency. This model uses an approach similar to the above equation. However, it has some extra terms for high frequency and geometrical effects, it is in good agreement with experimental data measured previously on a range of toroids magnetized between 50 Hz and 1 kHz.Item A neural network-based tool for magnetic performance prediction of toroidal cores(Elsevier, 2003-01) Miti, G.K.; Moses, Anthony John; Fox, David; Derebaşı, Naim; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Fizik Bölümü.; 11540936300Geometrical and building parameters have a strong influence on magnetic performance of wound toroidal cores made from electrical steel or similar strip products. This paper presents a neural network-based approach to predict losses and permeability in such cores of varying geometries over an induction range of 0.2-1.8T (50Hz). The approach is shown to be successful.
