Item Sonochemical syntheses and characterization of a new nano-sized 2-D lead(II) coordination polymer as precursor for preparation of PbBr(OH) nano-structure(Taylor & Francis, 2010) Sadeghzadeh, Homa; Morsali, Ali; Büyükgüngör, Orhan; Yılmaz, Veysel Turan; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Kimya Bölümü.; 0000-0002-2849-3332; L-7238-2018; 7006269202Nano-particles of a new 2-D Pb(II) coordination polymer, [Pb(4-pyc)(Br)(H2O)]n (1) (4-Hpyc = 4-pyridinecarboxylic acid), were synthesized by a sonochemical method. Crystal structure of 1 was determined by X-ray crystallography. The nano-particles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analyses. PbBr(OH) nano-structure was obtained by the calcination of nano-particles of 1 at 400 degrees C.Item Sonochemical syntheses of strawberry-like nano-structure mixed-ligand lead(II) coordination polymer: Thermal, structural and X-ray powder diffraction studies(Elsevier, 2010-03-22) Sadeghzadeh, Homa; Morsali, Ali; Büyükgüngör, Orhan; Yılmaz, Veysel Turan; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Kimya Bölümü.; 0000-0002-2849-3332; L-7238-2018; 7006269202Nano-structure of a new Pb(II) two-dimensional coordination polymer, {[Pb(2-pyc)(N-3)(H2O)]n (1), 2-Hpyc = 2-pyridinecarboxylic acid} was synthesized by a sonochemical method. The new nano-structure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. Compound 1 was structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and consists of two-dimensional polymeric units. The thermal stability of compound 1 was studied by thermal gravimetric and differential thermal analyses and compared. PbO nano-powder was obtained by calcination of the nano-structure of compound 1 at 400 degrees C. This study demonstrates the coordination polymers may be suitable precursors for the preparation of nano-scale materials and dependent on their packing they may produce different and interesting morphologies.Item Sonochemical synthesis of nano-scale mixed-ligands lead(II) coordination polymers as precursors for preparation of PbO and PbBr(OH) nano-structures: thermal, structural and X-ray powder diffraction studies(Elsevier, 2010-03) Sadeghzadeh, Homa; Morsali, Ali; Büyükgüngör, Orhan; Yılmaz, Veysel Turan; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Kimya Bölümü.; 0000-0002-2849-3332; L-7238-2018; 7006269202Nano-structures of two new lead(II) two-dimensional coordination polymers, [Pb-2(2-pyc)(2)(I)(2)](n) (1) and [Pb-2(2-pyc)(2)(Br)(2)](n) (2), {2-Hpyc = 2-pyridinecarboxilic acid} were synthesized by a sonochemical method that produce the coordination polymers at nano-size. The new nano-structures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. Compounds 1 and 2 were structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and consist of two-dimensional polymeric units. The thermal stability of compounds 1 and 2 were studied by thermal gravimetric and differential thermal analyses. PbO and PbBr(OH) nano-structures were obtained by calcination of the nano-structures of compounds 1 and 2 at 400 degrees C, respectively. (c) 2009 Elsevier B.V. Hpyc = 2-pyridine-carboxylic acid] was prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, powder XRD diffraction and IR spectroscopy. Compound 1 was structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and one-dimensional coordination polymer with coordination environment of PbNO6. The thermal stability of compound 1 showed that compound 1 decomposes at 110-500 degrees C and the final product is PbO. This polymeric precursor has been used to make PbO nano-particles using two different surfactants. The new nano-structure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray powder diffraction. This study demonstrates that the coordination polymers may be suitable precursors for the preparation of nanoscale materials.
