Publication Sample age effect on parameters of dynamic nuclear polarization in certain difluorobenzen isomers/MC800 asphaltene suspensions(De Gruyter Poland Sp Z O O, 2022-02-22) Ovalıoğlu, Hüseyin; OVALIOĞLU, HÜSEYİN; Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi; DJM-8496-2022Because of magnetic spin-spin interactivity between F-19 nucleus of the solvent and delocalized electrons on the MC800 asphaltene, the Overhauser dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) method is able to give a substantial boost in the signal acquired from studies focused on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The suspensions of asphaltene in difluorobenzene isomers were studied using Overhauser effect type DNP and NMR investigations at room temperature in a small magnetic field of 1.53 mT. The used asphaltene was obtained from MC800 liquid asphalt from Heavy Iran. Each sample of the solvent medium was produced at three different concentrations of asphaltene. These samples were stored in the refrigerator for 7 years, until DNP parameters were found by new DNP tests. As a result, the influence of sample age on parameters of DNP was studied, and then the findings were analyzed.Publication Effect of sample age of fluorocarbons on MC800 asphaltene on dynamic nuclear polarization parameters(Natl Inst Science Communication-niscair, 2022-03-01) Hüseyin, Ovalıoğlu; OVALIOĞLU, HÜSEYİN; Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Fizik Bölümü; GMK-5199-2022Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Overhauser effect type dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) experiments were performed to study suspensions of asphaltene in the fluorocarbons at a low magnetic field of 1.53 mT at room temperature. Asphaltene was extracted from MC800 liquid asphalt, which was Heavy Iran origin. Each sample of the solvent medium was produced at three different concentrations of asphaltene. These samples were kept for a period of seven years until DNP parameters were discovered through new DNP tests. The influence of sample age on parameters of DNP was studied and then the findings were analyzed. It was found that the. nuclear-electron coupling parameter was smaller. In low magnetic fields the nuclear-electron coupling parameter..varies from +0.5 (pure dipolar) to -1.0 (pure scalar), and new. obtained values are between these limits. New. values in our study are positive and this shows that the dipolar part of intermolecular spin-spin interactions is dominant.Publication Application of nuclear magnetic resonance/magnetic resonance imaging techniques to estimate proton relaxation parameters at earth field(Emerald Group Publishing Ltd, 2022-09-01) Ovalıoğlu, Hüseyin; OVALIOĞLU, HÜSEYİN; Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Fizik Bölümü; 0000-0002-7224-7526; DJM-8496-2022The nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) field of the earth may be utilized to estimate proton relaxation parameters in different liquids. In liquid samples, it can quantify proton relaxation durations T-1 and T-2, along with the self-diffusion coefficient D, thanks to the magnetic field of the earth. It was proven that it is feasible to distinguish between liquids based only on these characteristics by analyzing a wide range of liquid samples. In this study, it was investigated whether it is possible to utilize the earth's magnetic field NMR (EFNMR) so as to quantify T-1 and T-2 correctly and practically along with the self-diffusion coefficient D. These findings pave the way for additional research into the use of EFNMR for the determination of relaxation parameters. Two-dimensional hydrogen-1 (H-1) NMR images of 50ml of the solvent toluene at low frequencies were acquired using the magnetic field of the earth.Publication Dynamic nuclear polarization in suspensions consisting of pure and mixed chlorobenzene and pyridine and asphaltene extracted from asphalt cement with penetration grad 60(Taylor & Francis Inc, 2008-06-01) Ersözlü, Nihal Uran; Peksöz, Ahmet; Ovalıoğlu, Hüseyin; Kırımlı, Handan Engin; Çimenoğlu, M. Akif; Yalcıner, Aytaç; Ersözlü, Nihal Uran; PEKSÖZ, AHMET; OVALIOĞLU, HÜSEYİN; ENGİN KIRIMLI, HANDAN; Yalcıner, Aytaç; Uludağ Üniversitesi/Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi/Fizik Bölümü.; AAG-9772-2021; CNW-0707-2022; FEJ-0053-2022; ESV-4962-2022; JMG-7111-2023The Overhauser effect type dynamic nuclear polarization experiments were performed to study suspensions of asphaltene in pure and mixed chlorobenzene and pyridine at a low magnetic field of 1.44 mT and in four different temperatures (-10, 7, 23, and 38 degrees C). The asphaltene was extracted from asphalt cement with penetration grad 60. Intermolecular spin-spin interactions occur between nuclear spins of hydrogen in the suspending fluid medium and the impaired electron spins in the asphaltene micelles. The electron paramagnetic resonance spectrum of the asphaltene was obtained and the saturation experiments were applied to the samples prepared in vacuum. For all suspending fluid media used in this work, the dipole-dipole interaction is predominant due to the negative signal enhancements. In all temperatures, the dipolar part is the smallest (-9.17) for pure pyridine solvent medium at -10 degrees C and the highest (-38.2) for pure chlorobenzene solvent medium at 38 degrees C and between these two limits for mixed solvent media at all temperatures.
