Abstract
Yalnızca eylemi değil tümcenin tamamını kapsayan, konuşucunun olay ya da durum karşısındaki öznel yaklaşımını (niyeti, isteği, kişisel duyguları vb.) ifade eden anlamsal bir ulam olan kiplik, bu anlamsal ulamın biçimbirimlerle ve/veya sözlüksel birimlerle işaretlenmiş biçimi olan kip kavramıyla, sözdizimsel düzlemde gerçekleşmesi bakımından farklılık gösterir. Konuşmacının bir önermesindeki yargısını, kesinlik derecesine göre olası veya gerekli olarak gösteren kiplik, bilgikipliğinin; bir önermenin, eylemin gerçekleşmesine yönelik konuşucunun yönlendirici tutumlarını ifade eden kiplik, yükümlülük kipliğinin kapsamında ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmaya konu olan yükümlülük kipliği (gereklilik, izin, zorunluluk ve buyrum) ulamları dil araştırmalarında konuşucunun daha çok otorite konumunda olduğu, dinleyiciye yönelik sorumluluklar yüklediği tutumlarına karşılık gelen söylemlerle ilişkilendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Türkçede tanımı ve sınırları konusunda net bir ayırımın yapılmadığı görülen kip ve kiplik kavramlarına değinilmiş; örneklem olarak seçilen Yunus Emre’nin Risâletü’n-Nushiyye (Fatih Nüshası) adlı öğüt kitabından bağlamodaklı inceleme yapılarak tanıklanan kiplik işaretleyicilerinin farklı anlamsal işlevleri ele alınarak değerlendirilmiştir.
The modality, which is a semantic category that covers not only the action but the whole sentence, and expresses the speaker’s subjective approach to the event or situation (intention, desire, personal feelings, etc.), is at the syntactic level with the concept of modality, which is the form of this semanticcategory marked with morphemes and/or lexical units differ in its realization. The modality thatshows the speaker’s judgment of a proposition as possible or necessary according to the degree of certainty is the modality of knowledge; The modality, which expresses the speaker’s guiding attitudes towards the realization of a proposition and an action, is considered within the scope ofthe modality of deontic. The categories of the modality of deontic (requirement, permission, obligation, and imperative) that are the subject of the study have been associated with discoursesthat correspond to the speaker’s attitudes in which he is in a position of authority and imposesresponsibilities towards the listener in language studies. In this study, the concepts of mode andmodality, which do not seem to make a clear distinction in terms of definition and boundaries inTurkish, are mentioned; The different semantic functions of the modal markers, which were witnessed by making a context-oriented analysis from Yunus Emre’s advice book Risâletü’n-Nushiyye (Fatih’s Copy), which was chosen as a sample, were evaluated.
