“Yalnızlığın Oyuncakları”nda oyuna sığınan duygular

Abstract

1980 sonrası Türk tiyatrosunda siyasi ve toplumsal yapının eserlere yansıdığı görülür. Önceki dönemlere nazaran sönük bir yazın hayatının söz konusu olduğu bu dönemde tiyatro eserleri kendini yenileyememenin sıkıntısını çeker. Baydur’un oyunları biçim ve içerik itibariyle özenli metinler olması ile 1980 sonrası Türkiye’sinin toplumsal şartlarını ortaya koyduğu kadar evrensel insani değerlere de atıfta bulunması bakımından dikkat çeken, hüznü ve mizahı bir arada bulunduran eserlerdir. Alışılagelmiş düşünce yapılarını, insanlara toplum tarafında biçilmiş rolleri sorgulayan yazar, didaktik olmaktan uzak tutumu ile 1980 sonrası Türk tiyatrosuna yenilikçi bir yaklaşım getirir. Oyunda, Murat, Nazlı ve Arif’in aracılığıyla geçmişe ve geleceğe ilişkin düşünceler ortaya konur. Bireyin hayat boyu hissettiği yalnızlık, korku, can sıkıntısı, hüzün, kıskançlık ve nefret gibi duyguları işleyen “Yalnızlığın Oyuncakları”, bireylerin bu duygularla başa çıkma gayretlerini de sergiler. Yalnızlığın bir mecburiyet hâlini aldığı zaman oyun kişilerinin başvurduğu oyunlar ve çocuksu tavırlar ise Baydur tiyatrosunun belirleyici özelliklerini ortaya koymaları bakımından dikkat çekicidir.

t is seen that the political and social structure of the Turkish theater after 1980 is reflected in the works. In this period, when there is a dull literary life compared to previous periods, the atrical works suffer from the inability to renew themselves. Baydur’s plays are elaborate texts in terms ofform and content which are meticulous texts in terms of form and content, draw attention in termsof not only revealing the social conditions of Turkey after 1980, but also referring to universalhuman values, and they contain sadness and humor together. The author, questioning the conventional ways of thinking and the roles assigned to people by society, brings an innovative approach to Turkish theater after 1980 with his non-didactic attitude. In the play, thoughts aboutthe past and the future are revealed through Murat, Nazlı and Arif. “Yalnızlığın Oyuncakları” which processes emotions such as loneliness, fear, boredom, sadness, jealousy and hatred that everyperson feels throughout their lives, also exhibits the efforts of individuals to cope with the seemotions. The plays and childlike attitudes of the actors when loneliness becomes an obligation areremarkable in terms of revealing the defining features of Baydur theater.
