Vicdanın neliği üzerine: Rousseau-Kant örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma, ahlak felsefesinin temel kavramlarından biri olan vicdanın neliğini sorgulamak ve ahlak önermelerine temel olması bakımından aralarında etkileşim olduğuna inandığımız Rousseau ve Kant örneği üzerinden vicdan kavramını temellendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bunu yaparken ilk olarak Rousseau’nun, vicdan kavramını nasıl anlamlandırdığı üzerinde durulmuş ve Onun yapıtlarında çok açık olmasa da ahlak duygusu olarak ele aldığı bu kavramın içeriği tartışılmıştır. Daha sonra ise Kant’ın, temellendirilemeyecek olan eski metafizik alana ait öznel bir duyum olarak gördüğü vicdanın değeri sorgulanmıştır. Ayrıca, Kant’ın ahlak felsefesinin odağını oluşturan ödev ahlakı ile ilgili temel tespitlerine yer verilmiştir.

This study aims to question what of conscience, one of the basic concepts of moral philosophy, and to make the basis of conscience concept on Rousseau and Kant example, which we believe to have been an interaction between, in point of being a basis to ethics proposing. In doing this, how Rousseau interpreted the concept of conscience was focused first and though not very clear in his works, the content of this concept, which he treated as moral sense, was discussed. Then, value of conscience was questioned, which Kant thought as a subjective sensation belonging to old metaphysics that can not be fixed. Additionally, the Kant’s main fixations about duty ethics forming the focus of moral philosophy were given place.
