Yeni yapılandırılmış çoklu birleştirilmiş yöntemle bilimin doğasının unsurlarını öğretmeye yönelik pilot bir çalışma

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı “çoklu birleştirilmiş yöntemle” bilimin doğasının unsurlarını fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarına kazandırmak ve yöntemin öğretmen adaylarının bu konudaki düşünceleri üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Çalışmada basit deneysel araştırma yöntemlerinden tek grup ön test-son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini 42 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak açık uçlu anket kullanılmıştır. Anket verileri zayıf, değişken ve yeterli olmak üzere üç kategoriye ayrılarak analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; çoklu birleştirilmiş yöntemin öğretmen adaylarının bilimin doğasının unsurlarını kavramalarında etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bilimin doğasının unsurlarını kavratmak amacıyla yürütülen bu yöntemin daha geniş bir örneklemle denenmesi ve farklı konu alanlarında uygulanması önerilmektedir.

The aim of this study is to gain elements of the nature of science to science teacher candidates with multi unified method and investigate the effects of this method on their views about nature of science. The a pretest-posttest experimental research design was used in this study. The sample of this study consisted of 42 science teacher candidates. The data were collected by using open-ended questionnaire. Data divided into three categories as weak, variable, adequate for analysis. At the end of the study, it was found that multi unified method was effective to comprehend elements of the nature of science of teacher candidates. And study is concluded with the suggestions; this method should be applied with a larger sample and different subject areas.
