Abstract
Bu çalışmada koç spermasının sezona geçiş döneminde ve sezonda dondurulabilirliğinin araştırılması amaçlandı. Çalışmada, alınan koç spermaları Tris- yumurta sarısı sulandırıcısı ile 1:1 oranında sulandırılarak 0.25 ml.lik payetlerde finalde %5 gliserol içerecek şekilde hem sezona geçiş döneminde hem de sıfat sezonunda donduruldu. Sıfat sezonuna geçiş döneminde ve sezonda alınan taze sperma öneklerindeki yoğunluk, kitle hareketi, motilite ve toplam morfolojik bozukluk değerleri karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel fark saptanmıştır. Çözüm sonrası motilite sıfat sezonunda sezona geçiş döneminden daha yüksek bulunmuştur (P<0.01). Çözüm sonrası akrozomal ve toplam morfolojk bozukluk oranları ise sezona geçiş döneminde sıfat sezonundan daha yüksek bulunmuştur (P<0.01). Sonuç olarak; sunulan çalışmada sıfat sezonunda koç spermasının dondurulabilirliği daha üstün bulunmuştur.
The aim of this study was investigated of freezability of ram semen during the transition from nonbreeding to the natural breeding and breeding season. In this study, collected ram semen was diluted Tris-egg yolk extender in 1:1 ratio finally including 5% glycerol and frozen in 0.25 ml straws both during the transition from nonbreeding to the natural breeding and breeding season. There were statistically differences in the values of concentration, mass activity, motility and total morphological defects in fresh semen during the transition from non-breeding to the natural breeding season compared with that of the breeding season. Postthaw motility was found higher in breeding season than during the transition from non-breeding to the natural breeding season (P<0.01). Postthaw acrosomal and total morphological defects were higher during the transition from non-breeding to the natural breeding season than breeding season (P<0.01). In conclusion, the present study indicated that the freezability of ram semen was found more remarkable in breeding season.
