Max Scheler ve insan

Abstract

Max Scheler insanın kendisinin ne olduğuna dair 20.yy. da açık seçik bir fikre sahip ol unmamasını önemli bir problem olarak görür ve bugün dahi geçerli olabilecek bir noktayı işaret eder. Bu da insanın bir akıl varlığı olmaktan daha fazla bir şey olduğudur. Ona göre insan Geist varlığıdır. Geist antropolojisinin keskin düalizminin ortaya çıkardığı problemler bir yana bırakıldığında, Geist'la ilgili ifade edilmek istenenlere dikkatle baktığı mızda, bugün dahi içinde bulunduğumuz çıkmazları ve nedenlerini saptamaya ışık tutabilmiş olduğu görünmektedir.

Max Scheler sees human being' s not having a lucid idea of what he is as a major problem in 20.century and paints out to a fact that could be valid even today. This fact is, that a human being is something more than being a mind existence. According to Scheler a human being is a Geist existence. If the problems yielded by the severe dualism of the Geist anthropology are put aside and we scrutinize the things that have been expressed, it seems that Geist is able to shed light on determining the dead ends that we are in today and their reasons.
