Abstract

Bu çalışma, 1-13 Mayıs 2022 yılında İstanbul’un Küçükçekmece, Ümraniye, Başakşehir ve Üsküdar ilçelerinde yapıldı. Yapılan bu çalışmada iklim değişikliğine neden olan olaylar ve bu olayların sonucunda iklim değişikliğinin olumsuz etkilerini vurgulayan kavramlardan bahsedilmiştir. Çalışmanın metodolojisinde anket çalışması ve web sitesi tasarımı yapılmıştır. Yapılan anket çalışması sözü edilen kavramları içine almakta ve 30 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Ankete 172 kişi katılmış ve katılımcıların tamamı soruları cevaplandırmıştır. Katılımcıların cevapları değerlendirildiğinde; iklim değişikliğine neden olan “Sera Gazı Etkisi” ve iklim değişikliğinin olumsuzluklarından etkilenen ve buna bağlı olarak kullanımı ortaya çıkan kavramlar; sağlık, su, su ayak izi, karbon ayak izi, biyoçeşitlilik ve ekosistemler, orman, tarım, enerji, turizm, okyanus ve atık kavramlarını insanımızın genel olarak bildiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada yapılan anketteki 30 soruya verilen cevaplar değerlendirilmiş ve en dikkati çeken sorunun 30.soru (iklim değişikliği hakkında bilgi veren ve gidişata göre kendini güncelleyen web sitesi yapılsaydı dijital ortamda kullanır mıydınız?) olduğu kanaatine varılmıştır. Bu soruya 172 kişi cevap vermiş ve bunların % 71.5’i evet, % 12.8’i hayır, geriye kalan % 16’sı kısmen ve hiçbir fikrim yok olarak cevaplarını vermiş ancak kısmen cevabını verenler çoğunluktadır. Bu soruya verilen cevaplara göre web sitesi projemizi hayata geçirme konusunda doğru yolda olduğumuz anlaşılmaktadır. Katılımcıların %71.5’i bu soruya evet olarak cevaplaması projemizin iklim değişikliğinde toplumsal farkındalığı artırma yönünde yaygın etki yapacağını göstermektedir. Yapılan web sitesi, TÜBİTAK Bilim Genç Dergisi’nin Şubat sayısında yayımlanan Periyodik Cetvel modelinden ilham alınarak tasarlanmıştır. Web sitesinin adı: ikliminhafizasi.blogspot.com olarak belirlenmiştir.

This study was carried out on 1-13 May 2022 in Istanbul's Küçükçekmece, Ümraniye, Başakşehir and Üsküdar districts. In this study, the events that cause Climate Change and the concepts emphasizing the negative effects of climate change as a result of these events are mentioned. In addition, some data in the institutional agreements made for the solution of this problem in the world and in Turkey are explained. In the methodology of the study, a survey study and website design were made. The survey study includes the aforementioned concepts and consists of 30 questions. 172 people participated in the survey and all of the participants answered the questions. When the answers of the participants are evaluated; The "greenhouse gas effect" that causes Climate Change and the concepts that are affected by the negativities of Climate Change and which are used accordingly; It has emerged that our people generally know the concepts of health, water, water footprint, carbon footprint, biodiversity and ecosystems, forest, agriculture, energy, tourism, ocean and waste. The answers given to the 30 questions in the survey conducted in this study were evaluated and it was concluded that the most striking question was the 30th question (If there was a website that gives information about Climate Change and updates itself according to the trend, would you use it in the digital environment?). 172 people answered this question and 71.5% of them answered yes, 12.8% no, the remaining 16% answered partially and I have no idea, but the majority of them said partially. According to the answers given to this question, it is understood that we are on the right track in realizing our website project. The fact that 71.5% of the participants answered yes to this question indicates that our project will have a widespread impact on raising social awareness on Climate Change.The website was designed with inspiration from the Periodic Table model published in the February Issue of Tübitak Bilim Genç magazine. The name of the website is determined as ikliminhafizasi.blogspot.com.
