Sığır mastitisi üzerinde araştırmalar. 2. streptokoklara bağlı mastitis

Abstract

213 Süt numunesi C.M.T. (California Mastitis Test) ile incelenmiş bunlardan 180 süt numunesi mastitisli bulunmuştur. Mastitis negatif 33 numunenin kültürel yoklamalarında üreme olmamıştır. 180 mastitis-pozitif numunenin kültürel muayenesinde 27 streptokok suşu izole edilmiştir. İzole suşların hemolitik özellikleri, aeskulin'e etkileri ve CAMP testi sonuçlarına göre ikisinin Str. agalactiae suşu, diğerlerinin Str. uberis oldukları tesbit edilmiştir. İzole suşları 13 antibiyotiğe karşı hassasiyetleri ölçülmüştür. Herbir sus en az iki antibiyotiğe karşı hassasiyet gösterdiği tesbit edilmiştir.

Milk samples taken from the clinical cases were studied for streptococcal mastitis. Of the 213 milk samples which were tested with C.M.T. (California Mastitis est), 180 samples were found to be positive. Species of streptococci which were 180lated from those positive samples were identified as Str. agalactia (two strains) und str. uberis (25 strains) according to their haemolytical characteristics on blood agar, aesculin reactions and the results of CAMP test. Sensitivity of the isolates to 13 different antibiotics were tested on blood agar plates. Each one of the strains rested was found to be sensitive to at least two antibiotics. It was not observed any bacterial growth on the plates inoculated with C.M.T. negative milk samples.
