Abstract
Ülkemizde buğday ekim alanları yıllar itibariyle pek değişmemesine rağmen, buğday üretiminde bir artış görülmektedir. Birim alan veriminin artmasından ileri gelen üretim artışında, kuşkusuz en önemli etken verimli çeşitlerin üretime alınmasıdır. Trakya-Marmara Bölgesinde bugün ekilen çeşitlerin önemli bir bölümü yabancı çeşitler olup, ülkemize, yeterli adaptasyon denemeleri ve laboratuvar analizleri yapılmadan getirilmişlerdir. Özellikle son yıllarda bölgemizde çeşit sorunu ortaya çıkmıştır. Trakya-Marmara Bölgesinde toplam 40 kadar buğday çeşidi üretimdedir. Çeşit sayısı mutlaka azaltılmalıdır. Üreticiler çeşit konusunda bilinçlendirilmeli ve sertifikalı tohumluk kullanım alışkanlığı sağlanmalıdır.
Althoughh the acreage devoted to wheat was not changed over the years, wheat production has been increasing.The most important agent of production increase of wheat was mainly producing of productive varieties. Today, important part of wheat sown in Marmara and Trakya regions are mostly exotic varieties. They had brought to our country without adaptalia experiments and laboratory analysis. Especially in last years, the problem of variety had been appeared in our region. About 40 wheat varieties have been producing Trakya and Marmara regions. But, it must be decreased. On the other we have to educate the farmers about new varieties and encourage them using certificated seed.
