Abstract
Bu çalışmada paha biçilmez tarihi eserlerin saklanıp sergilendiği Topkapı Sarayı Müzesi için en fazla geliri sağlayan giriş bilet fiyatının belirlenmesinde kullanılabilecek bir model geliştirildi. İlk olarak giriş bilet fiyatı ve esneklik kavramları teorik olarak irdelendi. Daha sonra müzeyi farklı zaman dönemlerinde ziyaret edenlerin sayıları, bunlardan elde edilen bilet geliri değerleri elde edildi. Bu değerler kullanılarak indirgenmiş talep fiyat esneklikleri hesaplandı. Talep fiyat esnekliğinden hareketle kavramsal bir model geliştirildi. Modelin bir tepe noktasına sahip olabildiğine ilişkin kanıtlama yapıldı. Geliştirilen model için nümerik araştırma yöntemi uygulanıp en fazla geliri sağlayan giriş bilet fiyat düzeyi belirlendi. Yine analitik çözüm yöntemi kullanılarak model çözüldü. Her iki yöntemden aynı bulgular elde edildi. Son olarak aynı girdileri kullanan bir Excel elektronik tablo modellemesi ekte sunuldu.
There has been developed a model which can be used to determine the entrance fee level to maximize the revenue of the Topkapı Palace Museum which is using to exhibit priceless historical artifacts. First of all entrance fee and demand price elasticity concepts were investigated theoretically. Later, the number of museum visitors and the revenue received from entrance fees has been gathered. By using these values the adjusted demand price elasticity has been obtained. Furthermore a mathematical model based on the elasticity has been developed. It is seen that the developed model has got a maximum point. The entrance fee level that maximized the revenue has been determined via the numeric search method which is applied to the developed model Also analytic method has been applied to the developed model for finding the entrance fee level to maximize the revenue. Both of them have given the same results as a confirmation. Lastly an Excel spreadsheet modeling that contains built-in functions were presented in annex.
