Abstract
lt is generally assumed, Descartes wasn 't interested in ethical problems in a systematical way, thus it is thought that ethics has, as a discipline, neither priority nor importance in his philosophy. However, in development of his thought, although he is never systematically interested in ethics, this problem area, which concerned with both theory and practice, has a great importance in his philosophical system. For this reason, the analysis of such problems on a solid ground completes Descartes' project '"search for truth".
