Abstract
Bütünüyle kendi etrafında dönerek psuche, doxa sahnesinden aletheia sahnesine döner ve nôêsis vasıtasıyla eidos cihetinde saklandığı yerden açığa çıkan hakiki varlıkla (ontos on) karşı karşıya gelir.
Aletheia in Plato’s thought is taken in this essay as a totalizing experience in which the attendent is subjected to via psuche as is obvious from Plato’s dialogues. Hence philosophia determined as such by Plato is not only knowledge but also a katharsis, a healing. Moreover, it is also an act of remembering but of a special kind; a reminiscence of a long forgotten as amnesia. anamnesis thus named is the name of aletheia in experiential form and determines philosophia still in another sense. This is why the pathos of philosophia appears to be eros because it alone has the power to create an impetus and pulled the philosophos out of doxa (amnesia of psuche as of alethiea) which is expressed by the once and only coined word periaktoi (change of scene by total turnabout) by Plato the dramaturgos. By means of a total turnabout, psuche of philosophos shifts from the scene of doxa to aletheia and faces the true being (ontos on) which is now comes to the open in its eidos aspect to a vision of truth as noesis.
