Abstract
Bu çalışmada, yerel bazı makarnalık buğday çeşitlerine (Eminbey, Mirzabey 2000 ve Şahinbey) ait tohumların bazı fiziksel özellikleri ve renk karakteristikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada kullanılan Eminbey, Mirzabey 2000 ve Şahinbey çeşitlerinin nem içerikleri sırasıyla %9.00, %7.72 ve %6.92 (kuru baz, k.b) olarak belirlenmiştir. Fiziksel özelliklerden uzunluk, kalınlık, geometrik ortalama çap, küresellik ve yüzey alanı değerleri açısından çeşitler arasında istatistiksel olarak farklılıklar gözlenmiştir (p<0.01). L parlaklık değerlerinin Eminbey çeşidinde daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Buğday çeşitlerinde maksimum yığılma açısı değeri 7.33⁰ ile Şahinbey çeşidinde bulunurken, minimum değer ise 3.78⁰ ile Mirzabey 2000 çeşidinde bulunmuştur. Çalışmanın sonuçları, ekim ve hasat makinaları ile hasat sonrası teknolojilerindeki taşıma, boyutlandırma, sınıflandırma ve depolama sistemlerinin tasarlanmasında ve ürün işlemede mühendislik verisi olarak kullanılabilecektir.
In this study, some physical properties and color characteristics of seeds of some local durum wheat varieties (Eminbey, Mirzabey 2000 and Şahinbey) were investigated. The moisture contents of Eminbey, Mirzabey 2000 and Şahinbey cultivars used in the study were determined as 9.00%, 7.72% and 6.92% (dry base, d.b.), respectively. Statistical differences were observed between the varieties at the p<0.01 level in terms of physical characteristics such as length, thickness, geometric mean diameter, sphericity and surface area. It was determined that L brightness values were higher in Eminbey variety. While the maximum angle of repose was found in Şahinbey variety with 7.33⁰ among wheat varieties, the minimum value was found in Mirzabey 2000 variety with 3.78⁰. The results of the study will be used in planting and harvesting and also, they used as engineering data in the design of technologies transportation, sizing, classification and storage systems in and post- harvest technologies and product processing.
