Abstract
Farklı ışık kaynakları (normal ampul, tüp floresan ve kompakt floresan) altında büyütülen broilerlerin canlı ağırlık, yemden yararlanma, ölüm oranı, elektrik kullanımı ve elektrik maliyetini belirlemek için iki ayrı deneme yürütülmüştür. Denemeler Uludağ Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Çiftliğinde yapılmıştır. Her iki denemede civcivlere ad libitum olarak, 0-2 hafta başlangıç yemi (% 20 protein ve 3000 kcal/kg ME) ve 2-5 hafta büyütme yemi (% 20 protein ve 3050 kcal/kg ME) verilmiştir. Civcivlere büyümenin ilk 5 günü sürekli aydınlatma, daha sonra 1 saat karanlık 23 saat aydınlık sağlanmıştır. Deneme !'de 300 adet Ross PM3, civciv kullanılmıştır. Aydınlatma kaynağı 40 watt normal ampul ve 18 watt tüp florasandan oluşmuştur. Deneme II'de 600 adet Arbor Acres civciv kullanılmıştır. Aydınlatma kaynağı 40 watt normal ampul, 18 watt tüp floresan ve 20 watt kompakt floresan dan oluşmuştur. Her iki denemede ampul tipinin broiler performans ölçüleri üzerinde önemli bir etkisi tespit edilmemiş, fakat elektrik tüketimini direkt olarak etkilediği saptanmıştır. Tüp floresan ve kompakt floresan ampul normal ampul/e karşılaştırıldığında broiler performansına herhangi bir zararlı etkisi olmaksızın elektrik maliyetini önemli ölçüde azaltmıştır. Sonuçta aydınlatmada normal ampul yerine tüp floresan ve kompakt floresan ampul kullanmanın daha ekonomik olduğu kanısına varılmıştır.
Two experiments were conducted to determine body weight, feed conversion, mortality, electrical usage and electrical costs for broiler reared under various light sources (incandescent, pencil tube fluorescent, warm white fluorescent). The experiments were performed in Uludağ University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Research and Application Form. In each trial, birdç were provided ad libi tum access to a s tarter diet from O to 2 wk(22 % CP and 3000 kcal of ME/kg), anda grower diet from 2 to 5 wk of age (20% CP and 3050 kcal of ME/kg). Chicks received continuous light during the fırst 5 days of growth , then 1 h dark: 23 h light/day. In experiment I, 300 Ross PM3 chicks were used. Light sources included:40 W incandescent lamps; and 18 W pencil tube fluorescent lamps. In experiment II, 600 Arbor Acres chicks were used. Light sources included : 40 W incandescent lamps; 18 W pencil tube fluorescent lamps; and 20 W warm white fluorescent lamps. In each experiment, type of lamp had no significant effect on bird peıformance measurements but did directly affect electric consumption. Pencil tube fluorescent and warm white fluorescent lamps significantly reduced lighting electricity costs without any detrimental effect on broiler performance in comparison to incandescent lamp. Thus, it is concluded that it is highly economic to use tube fluorescent or warm white fluorescent Lamp instead of incandescent lamp in lighting practice.
