Abstract
Merinos breed, one and half month old, a male lamb was presented with complaint of the abdominal swelling. Clinically, the swelling was resulted from the abdominal fluid and the fluid taken by abdominocentesis was determined as urine. In hematologic examination, blood urea and creatinin values were high. Presence of abdominal fluid was seen radiologically and ultrasonographically but the integrity of the urinary bladder was not observed ultrasonographically. Performing the laparatomy under general anesthesia, urinary bladder rupture and mucosal protrusions resulted from the urolithiasis were detected. Urethral catheterization through urinary bladder and urohydropulson were ineffective. The urine flow was permanently obtained by perineal urethrostomy. Clinical, laboratorial, radiological and ultrasonographical results of the lamb were normal in the postoperative period.
