İlköğretim yedinci sınıf matematik dersinde (çokgenler konusunda) öğrenci takımları başarı bölümleri tekniğinin kullanımı ve uygulama sonuçları

Abstract

Bu çalışma, işbirlikli öğrenme tekniklerinden “Öğrenci Takımları Başarı Bölümleri”(ÖTBB) tekniğinin kullanımını belirlemek ve uygulama aşamalarını tespit için ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada Öğrenci Takımları Başarı Bölümleri tekniğinin öğrenci başarısında geleneksel yönteme göre etkili olup-olmadığı ve kız- erkek öğrenciler arasında farklılaşmaya neden olupolmadığı test edilmiştir. Araştırmada kontrol gruplu ön test – son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2002-2003 öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde Van İnönü İlköğretim Okulu 7. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmaya birinde 29 diğerinde 26 olmak üzere iki ayrı sınıftan toplam 55 öğrenci alınmıştır. Denkleştirme testi ortalamaları açısından denk oldukları saptandıktan sonra gruplardan biri deney diğeri ise kontrol grubu olarak kabul edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde t-testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular sonucunda deney grubundaki öğrencilerin matematik başarılarının (son test), kontrol grubu öğrencilerine göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Kız ve erkek öğrenciler açısından da gruplar arasındaki fark anlamlı bulunmuştur.

This study has been prepared to state the usage of Student Teams and Achievement Divisions (STAV) which is a technique of cooperative learning and analyze the application stages of the technique. In this study, the effectiveness of Student Teams and Achievement Divisions (STAV) with respect to General Methods on math- performances and cause a differentiation between boy and girl students has been tested. The pre-test and post-test with control group has been used in the research. Research pattern is the 7 th class-students in İnönü Elementary School in the second semester of 2002-2003 educational years in Van. Total 55 students from two classes, one of 29 students and the other of 26 students totally,were taken into account.After determinance of the equvalence of the average of pre- test, one of the group has chosen as the control and the other as experimental group. Finally, t –test is utilized on the data analysis. As a result of this research it was seen that math- performances (post-test) of students of the test group is significantly higher than math- performances (post-test) of students of the control group. Also the boy and girl students the grouping main effect was meaningful.
