Brecht’in epik tiyatro teorisi ve Arturo Ui’nin önlenebilir yükselişi oyununun felsefi bir yorumu

Abstract

Bu makale Brecht’in düşündürdüğü sorudan yola çıkar: Gerçekle ilişkiniz nedir? Brecht epik tiyatro teorisini gerçeği üretmek için bir alternatif olarak yaratır. Arturo Ui’nin Önlenebilir Yükselişi oyunu epik tiyatro teorisinin tüm özelliklerinin bir uygulamasının bulunabileceği bir sanat yapıtıdır. Makalenin başlangıcında epik tiyatro teorisinin sanat felsefesindeki yeri gösterilir. Bunun ardından Brecht’in Arturo Ui’nin Önlenebilir Yükselişi oyununun tarihsel ve teatral önemi anlatılır. Oyunda adı geçen ancak Brecht’in yazmadığı Yuva adlı bir şarkı yazılır. Son olarak Arturo Ui’nin Önlenebilir Yükselişi oyununun epik tiyatro teorisi bağlamında felsefi bir değerlendirmesi yapılır.

This article sets off from the question Brecht makes us think of: What is your relation to the reality? Brecht creates the theory of epic theatre as an alternative way for the production of reality. Brecht’s play The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui is a work of art in which an implementations of all characteristics of the theory of epic theatre can be found. In the beginning of the article an account of the place of the theory of epic theatre in the philosophy of art is tried to be given. After that, historical and theatrical importance of Brecht’s play The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui is explained. A song titled as “Home” mentioned in the play but had not written by Brecht is written. Finally a philosophical evaluation of the play The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui in context of the theory of epic theatre is made.
