Abstract

Edmund Burke’ün düşünceleri muhafazakâr siyaset felsefesi için temel bir referans kaynağıdır. Bu tarz bir kaynaklığa sebebiyet veren husus onun sahip olduğu akıl anlayışıdır. Bu çalışmada Burke’ün akıl anlayışının mahiyeti üzerinde durulmuştur. Burke’ün akıl anlayışının kavranabilmesi için gelenek ve önyargının önemli olduğu belirtilmiştir. Son olarak ise aklın ahlaki olarak nasıl işleyebileceği konusuna yer verilmiştir. These points were emphasized in order to expound the understanding of reason directs Burke’s political philosophy.
