Abstract
The case of primary ovarian pregnancy in a 37 year old gravida 7, para 4 is reported. A plastic intra-uterine device was in-situ for three years. The primary left ovarian pregnancy which fulfilled Von Spiegelberg's criteria was removed at nine weeks gestation. The etiology of a primary ovarian pregnancy in the presence of an intra-uterine device is at present unknown.
