Spinoza’da felsefe, etik ve siyaset

Abstract

Modern felsefenin en büyük başarılarından bazıları, insan özgürlüğü inancını Tanrı’nın doğasına ilişkin kalıcı yasalarla uzlaştırma çabasından kaynaklanır. Bu çabalar içerisinde belki de Spinoza’nın çabası, akla yatkın tek ve kalıcı olanıydı. Çünkü Spinoza’yı felsefe yapmaya iten şey ‘bilgi’ arayışından ziyade ‘mutluluk’ arayışı idi. Ve onun en büyük başarısı, insanın kendisinin yarattığı dünyasının, hem efendisi hem de hizmetkârı olarak göstermek oldu. O, insan için ‘iyi yaşam’ nedir? Bu yaşamı en iyi şekilde yaşamamı sağlayacak olan nedir? Yaşamımı sürekli mutlu ve kutlu yüce bir sevinç içinde sürdürmemi sağlayacak olan şey nedir? Bunu nasıl elde edebilirim? gibi sorular sorar. Bilgece, iç özgürlüğü ve mutluluğu yakalayabileceği bir yaşam yolu arayışındaki Spinoza’nın sorduğu tüm bu sorular etik sorulardır ve felsefesi de bu yolu aydınlatmaya yönelik çabadan ibarettir diyebiliriz. İşte biz bu çalışmamızda Spinoza’nın sistemi içerisinde felsefe, ahlak ve siyaset ilişkisini anlamaya çalıştık.

One of the greatest achievements of modern philosophy is the efforts with regard to reconciling the notion of human freedom with the basic principles attributed to the nature of God. Among these efforts the one suggested by Spinoza was the most rational and lasting in nature. The reason for this was that what was motivated Spinoza in his philosophy was the search for happiness rather than for knowledge. In addition, he showed that human beings was both master and servant of the world that they created. He asked such questions as what is good life? What makes me to live this life in the best way with highest happiness and blessed? How can I catch such a life? We can claim that these questions asked by Spinoza who was in the search for a life in which he thought to catch inner freedom and happiness were ethical questions and his philosophy included efforts to shed light on these matters. We tried to understand the relations between philosophy, ethics and politics within Spinoza’s philosophical system.
