Abstract
Bu çalışmada Koronavirüs Hastalığı 2019 (COVID-19) döneminde sağlık çalışanlarının beslenme alışkanlıklarında meydana gelen değişimlerin sorgulanması amaçlanmıştır. Kesitsel türde yapılan bu araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Mustafakemalpaşa Devlet Hastanesi’nde görev yapan 200 sağlık çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak dört bölümden oluşan anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Boy uzunluğu sabit boy ölçer, bel çevresi mezura ve vücut ağırlığı, Beden Kitle İndeksi (BKİ), yağ oranı, sıvı oranı ölçümleri TanitaMC-780MA cihazı ile alınmıştır. Sağlık çalışanlarının %30’u COVID-19'a yakalandığını ve %78,6’sı hastalığı hafif atlattığını belirtmiştir. Salgın sürecinde katılımcıların %42’si vücut ağırlığının arttığını, %21,5’i azaldığını, %36,5’i değişmediğini belirtmiştir. COVID-19 nedeniyle normalden daha fazla el yıkama/ antiseptik kullandığını belirtenler %88,5, yurtiçi seyahatten kaçınanların oranı %52, evde normalden daha fazla temizlik/dezenfektan kullandığını belirtenler %50, gıdaları dezenfekte eden ve yiyecek stoklayanların oranı %40,5’tir. COVID-19 pandemisinin sağlık çalışanlarının beslenme alışkanlıklarını etkilediği, beslenme bilinci olarak sağlıklı beslenmeye yönlendirdiği fakat yoğun çalışma şartları, COVID-19’a güvensizlik hissi ve stres nedeni ile beslenmelerinin olumsuz yönde etkilendiği düşünülmektedir.
