Abstract
Bu çalışmada, ilk başta postmodernizm kavramı ve tarihsel yönü ile bu süreç içerisinde ortaya çıkan değişim ele alındıktan sonra müzik kavramının tanımı üzerinde durulmuştur. Daha sonra, postmodern müzik başlığı altında, postmodern müziğin özelliklerine değinilip, müzik ve postmodernlik arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koyan örneklere yer verilmiştir. Akabinde, postmodern toplumda tüketim kavramı ve kitle iletişim araçları ele alınmıştır. Bununla birlikte, postmodernizm süreç içerisindeki değişimde, kitle iletişim araçları ve kitle iletişim araçları tarafından yayılan tüketim kavramının müzik üzerindeki etkileri dikkate alınarak, üretimin öneminin yitirilip yerini seyirlik tüketime bıraktığından bahsedilmiştir.
In this work, upon studying the concept of postmodernism, its historical aspect and the change that occurred in this process the definition of the concept of music was thought of. Afterwards, features of postmodern music were adverted and examples that illustrate the relationship between music and postmodernism were included under the title of postmodern music. Subsequently, the concept of consumption in a postmodern society and mass communication media are examined. However, it is told that the importance of production is made to lose its importance and left its place to watch and consume by taking into consideration the change postmodernism had in the process, mass communication media and effects of mass communication media on music.
