Tiroid karsinomalarında cerrahi yaklaşım ve postoperatir 1-131 uygulamaları

Abstract

Tiroid karsinomlarının tedavisi konusunda genellikle kabul edilen protokol, operasyon ile mümkün olduğunca tiroid dokusunun çıkarılmasıdır. Diferansiyel tiroid karsinomalarında, operasyondan sonraki dönemde radyoterapi ve kemoterapi tamamen ortadan kalkmıştır. Kalan tiroid dokusu, rekürrens ve metastatik odaklan tedavisinde I-131 kullanımı kabul edilmiştir. Makalemizde tiroid karsinomlarında önerilen tedavi prosedürleri anlatılmış ve konu ile ilgili literatür gözden geçirilmiştir.

The accepted protocol for the management of thyroid carcinomas is to remove as much possible thyroid tissue. In the postoperative period, there ise no applications of chemotherapy and radiotherapy in differentiated thyroid carcinomas. Remnant thyroid tissue, recurrent and metastatic points are successfully treated with I-131. In this article we pointed out the suggested therapy procedures for thyroid carcinonıas and the literature related with the subject were evaluated.
