Biçimbilimsel farkındalık ve metnin anlamlandırması: Fransızca yabancı dil sınav metinleri örneği

Abstract
Biçimbilimsel farkındalık, dil dizgesi içerisinde biçimbilimsel, sözdizimsel, anlambilimsel vb. bileşenlerden oluşan metinlerin kavranması ve anlamlandırılması sürecinde sözcüklerin biçimbirimsel yapılarını değerlendirebilme, biçimbilimsel açıdan karmaşık olan sözcükleri anlamlandırabilme, sözcüklerin diğer birimlerle kurdukları ilişkileri gözetebilme, tümcelerarası geçişleri yorumlayabilme, metinlerdeki bileşenler arasındaki bağlantıları kurabilme vb. işlemlerin, belli metinsellik ölçütlerini içinde barındıran metnin kavranması sürecinde işletilmesine gönderimde bulunmaktadır. Çalışmamız, ‘biçimbilimsel farkındalık’ ve metinlerin anlamlandırılması arasındaki ilişkiyi Fransızca yabancı dil sınav metinleri üzerinden açıklamayı hedeflemiştir. Bu hedef doğrultusunda, veritabanı olarak ÖSYM’nin 2006-2013 yılları arasında ilkbahar-sonbahar dönemlerinde uyguladığı yabancı dil sınavlarında sorulan toplam 4680 soru arasından ‘seçkili örneklem’ yöntemiyle istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir sayıda olan 500 soru seçilmiş ve biçimbilimsel ipuçları kullanılarak çözümlenmiş ve yanıtları denetlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, biçimbilimsel farkındalık ve metin anlamlandırma arasında doğrudan bir ilişki olduğu saptanmış, yabancı dil sınav metinlerinde sözcüğün anlamını öngörme, sözcük/kavram alanı ilişkisi kurabilme, vb. biçimbilimsel farkındalık kazanımları yoluyla dilin bilgiye ulaşma aracı olarak işlerliğini sağlamaya yönelik öneriler getirilmiştir.
La conscience morphologique fait référence à l’exécution des opérations telles que l’évaluation de la structure des morphèmes lexicaux, l’interprétation des mots compliqués en termes morphologique, l’observation de la relation des mots avec d’autres morphèmes, l’interprétation de la transition entre les phrases, la création des liens entre les composants des textes, pendant le processus de compréhension et d’interprétation des textes qui composent certains critères textuels et qui se forment des composants morphologiques, syntaxiques, sémantiques dans le système d’une langue. Notre étude vise à expliquer la relation entre « la conscience morphologique » et l’interprétation de textes par l’intermédiaire des textes d’examen de français langue étrangère. Pour ce faire, nous avons choisi 500 questions (nombre statistiquement significatif) en employant la méthode « d'échantillonnage sélectionnée » entre 4680 questions posées dans les examens de français langue étrangère appliqués entre les années 2006-2013 par ÖSYM et nous les avons analysées en nous servant des indices morphologiques. Par conséquent, nous avons constaté qu’il y a une relation directe entre la conscience morphologique et l’interprétation des textes et nous avons fait des suggestions afin d’assurer le fonctionnement de la langue étant un moyen d’accéder à l’information par l’acquisition de la conscience morphologique telles que la prévention du sens des mots des textes d’examens de français langue étrangère et l’établissement de lien entre le mot et la notion.
Morpholgical awareness refers to making use of procedures such as evaluating the morphological structure of words, comprehension of the words that are morphologically complex, observing the relations of words with other units, explaining inter-sentence transitions, observing the relations between units in texts in the process of comprehension of texts that include criteria of textuality and consists of components such as morpgological, syntactic, semantic in the language system. Our study aims to explain the relationship between morphological awareness and comprehension of texts. To this end, statistically relevant 500 out of 4860 questions that were asked in foreign language evaluation tests during the spring - autmn terms in years between 2006 - 2013 by ÖSYM were chosen via selected sampling method and they were answered using morphological clues. As a result, it was observed that there is a direct relationship between morphological awareness and text comprehension, suggestions have been made to make use of the ability to relate word/concept domain for obtaining information by gaining morpholgical awareness about predicting the meaning of words in texts in foreign language exams.
