Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Azerbaycan’da kırsal alanda kadınları girişimci olmaya yönlendiren faktörleri ve kırsal alanda kadın girişimcilerin karşılaştıkları sorunları belirlemektir. Bu amaçla, kırsal alanda girişimcilik yapan 157 kadınla anket yapılmıştır. Anketlerden elde edilen birincil veriler, frekans, % analizi ve Ki-kare bağımsızlık testleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, kırsal alanda kadınlar girişimci olma nedenlerini; %98,1 oranında ekonomik bağımsızlık kazanmak için, %98’i yüksek kazanç elde etmek için, %91,1 oranında kendi işinin patronu olmak için, %77 oranında aile ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması olarak belirtmişlerdir. Finansal destek verildiği için girişimci olan kadınların oranı ise %24,5’tir. Kırsal alanda kadın girişimciler %85,4 oranında işletmelerini kurarken kadın olmalarından dolayı, %58,6’sı ise ailevi nedenlerden dolayı sorun yaşadıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Ankete katılanların tamamı uygun kredi imkanlarının olmaması nedeniyle sorun yaşadıklarını ifade ederken, %85,4’ü ise deneyimsizlikten dolayı sorun yaşadıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Kırsal alanda kadın girişimciliğinin desteklenmesi amacıyla kadınların mesleki eğitimlerine ağırlık verilmeli, ücretsiz danışmanlık hizmeti ve özel krediler verilerek finansman ihtiyaçları karşılanmalıdır.
The aim of this study is to determine the factors that lead women to become entrepreneurs in rural areas in Azerbaijan and the problems faced by women entrepreneurs in rural areas. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 157 women who were entrepreneurs in rural areas of Azerbaijan. The primary data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using frequency, % analysis and Chi-square independence tests. According to the results obtained, the reasons for women to be entrepreneurs in rural areas; 98.1% stated that they became entrepreneurs to gain economic independence, 98% to earn high income, 91.1% to be their own boss, and 77% to meet their family needs. The rate of women who become entrepreneurs due to financial support is 24.5%. In rural areas, 85.4% of women entrepreneurs stated that they had problems while establishing their businesses because they were women, while 58.6% stated that they had problems due to family reasons. While all of the respondents stated that they had problems due to the lack of suitable loan facilities, 85.4% of them stated that they had problems due to inexperience. In order to support women's entrepreneurship in rural areas, women's vocational training should be emphasized and free consultancy services should be provided, and their financing needs should be met by giving special loans to women
