Abstract
Televizyon yayınları, çocukların gelişiminde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Televizyon yayınları, çocukların kişilik gelişiminde önemli bir unsur olduğundan önemsenmelidir. Çocuklar geleceğimizi şekillendireceği için ülkemiz için çok önemlidirler.Televizyon yayınları önemini, üzerinde etkili olduğu çocukların öneminden almaktadır. Televizyonun çocuklar üzerinde olumsuz etkileri birçok araştırmaya konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada 10-14 yaş arası çocukların televizyona yönelik tutumlarını ve bağımlılık düzeylerini ortaya çıkaracak bir ölçek geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma sırasında betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Ölçeği geliştirmek için öncelikle madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Madde havuzu altmış cümleden oluşmaktadır. Cümleler araştırmacı tarafından yazılmış ve eğitim psikolojisi alanında dört akademisyene sunulmuştur. Akademisyenlerin önerileri doğrultusunda on dokuz cümle ölçekten çıkarılmıştır. Kırk bir maddeden oluşan ölçek Bursa'nın İnegöl ilçesinde bulunan Şakir Lakşe İlköğretim Okulunda dördüncü, beşinci, altıncı, yedinci ve sekizinci sınıfta eğitim gören öğrencilerden elverişli örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen bir grup öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Uygulama biçiminin güvenilirliğe etkisini ortaya koymak için, uygulama; birincisi ölçeğin öğrencilere dağıtılarak uygulanması şeklinde, ikincisi ise yapılandırılmış görüşme şeklinde olmak üzere iki biçimde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Birinci uygulama 394 öğrenci ile ikinci uygulama ise 150 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Uygulamanın ardından güvenilirlik ve geçerlilik analizleri yapılmıştır. Birinci uygulama için Cronbach Alfa değeri .82 ; ikinci uygulama için Cronbach Alfa değeri .85 bulunmuştur. Yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği ile gerçekleştirilen uygulamada güvenilirlik düzeyi daha yüksek çıktığı için diğer analizler bu uygulamanın verilerine uygun olarak yapılmıştır. Son olarak madde analizi yapılmış ve dört cümlenin daha ölçekten çıkarılması kararlaştırılmıştır. Katılımcıların ölçekten aldıkları puanlar ile sosyo-kültürel özellikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığı araştırılmış ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır.
TV broadcasting has an important role on children?s development. TV broadcasting must be considered as an effective element on children?s personality development. Children are very important for a country because they will shape the future. As TV effects them then it and its impact has to be observed carefully. Several researches investigated the negative effects of TV. In the present study it was intended to research the TV dependency level of children between the ages 10-14. For his purpose an inventory was designed to be developed. It was tought to reveal the dependency levels and attitudes of children for TV. A descriptive scanning model was used during the study. For developing the inventory at first an item pool was written. This pool was consisted of sixty sentences. These sentences were written by the researcher and they were presented for critique to four academicians who had Ph.D. degree in educational psychology. By the suggestions of these academicians, nineteen sentences have been removed from inventory. The final inventory has been occurred as forty-one items and it was applied to a group of students who were chosen with convenient sample technique among the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth classes of the school of Şakir Lakşe İlköğretim Okulu, in İnegöl, where is a district of Bursa city. For revealing the impact of application type on reliability of the inventory; at first the inventory first the inventory was given to the students by paper and pencil. Then it was presented by interview. First application was made by the participation of 394 students and second application made by 150 students. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient of first application was found as .82, and the second application?s Cronbach Alfa value was .85. Because of the higher reliability coefficient of the second application, the analysis was done according to these data. Finally, after the taking out of four items the inventory was decided to be ready as having 37 items. It was investigated a significant difference between the the mean scores of the students who had from the inventory and several socio-cultural features and It could not find a meaningful relationship.
