Abstract
Çeşitli özgün baskıresim teknikleriyle, sanatçılar yeni anlatım yollarını kullanma olanağını bulmuşlardır. Ayrıca yağlıboya, pastel, guaj, suluboya kullanılarak yaratılan eserler tek özgün eser olarak kalırlar. Fakat özgün baskıresim teknikleriyle yaratılan eserler, özgün değerlerini yitirmeden çoğaltılabilirler. Bu özellikler özgün baskıresminin tutulmasına neden olmuştur. Etching özgün baskıresmin gerçekleştirilmesinde kullanılan çukur baskı tekniklerinden bir tanesidir. Özellikle günümüzde oldukça yaygınlaşmış bir teknik olup, birçok sanatçı tarafından kullanılmaktadır.
With different techniques of printmaking the artists have found the possibility of new way of expressions. On the other hand, the works created by employing watercolour, oilpaint pastel, gouache, stay as unique specific things. But, the works created by printmaking technique, can be multiplied without loosing anything from their specific values. The reasons why the printmaking has been so appreciated, are these properties it has. Etching is one of the intaglio techniques employed in the realization of the printmaking. Recently, etching as a technique very accepted has been commonly used by many artists.
