Abstract
Bu araştırmada 64 adet 1300-1400 gr agırlığında (I. grup) ve 72 adet de 1500-1600 gr ağırlığında (Il. grup) cobb ırkı broiler materyal olarak kullaİııldı. Broilerlerin hepsi 40'ar günlüktü. Çalışmada aynı yaşta, farklı ağırlıkta broiler karkaslarında, karkas ağırlığı ile kalça ve but parçaları ara ındaki ilişki (korelasyon) incelendi. Ayrıca her bir parçanın karkas ağırlığı içindeki yüzde oranlan tespit edildi. İki grupta da karkas ağırlığı ile kalça ve but parçalannın ağırlıklan arasında gıt net olarak pozitif korelasyon tespit edildi (I. grupta üst but kemiği ile alt but kemiği ve derisi ağırlığı hariç). Özellikle karkas ağırlığı ile iki grupta da bütün kalçalı butlar, bütün but, üst but agırlıkları arasındaki korelasyonlar ile I. grupta alt but, alt but eti ve üst but eti ağırlıkları arasındaki korelasyonların önemli olduğu saptandı (p < 0,0 1). Karkas ağırlığındaki artışa bağlı olarak Il grupta kalça ve but parçalarının ağırlıklarında artma gözlenmesine karşılık, bunların yüzde ağırlıklarında I. gruba göre önemsiz bir azalma olduğu tespit edildi.
In this study, 64 cobb rase line broilers weighed 1300-1400 g (I. group) and also 72 broilers weighed ı 500-I 600 g (II. group) were utilized in the experiment. All the broilers were 40-day-old. Correlations between careass weight and hig and leg cuts weights were investigated in broiıers which'were at the same age and different careass weights. In addition to percentage of each cuts in the careass weight were determined. The positive correlation also was determined between weights of hig and ıeg in the both groups (except of thigh bone with drumstick bone and skin weight). Particuıarı y, the correlation between careass weights and legs with whole hig and whole legs and thigh weights in the both group and the relationship between careass weight and drumstick, drumstick meat and thigh meat weights were determined signifıcantly im portant as statistically (p< 0,0 ). Allthough an increase in the weights of hig and thigh cuts related with increase of careass weight in the second groups was obsered, an unsignifıcantly decrease in these cuts was determined in the percentage weights as to fust group
