Abstract
Araştırma entansif besi uygulanan Betina ırkı erkek hindilerin rasyonlarına yem katkı maddesi olarak % 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.0 düzeyinde sodyum bikarbonat katmanın besi performansı ve kesim özelliklerine etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Besi 200 adet hindiyle 5 grupta yürütülmüş ve 98 gün sürmüştür. Hindilerin besi başlangıç ağırlıkları 3.6-3.8 kg arasında olup, besi sonu canlı ağırlıkları ve günlük ortalama canlı ağırlık artışları ise gruplara göre sırasıyla 10.95, 10.67, 10.57, 10.64, 10.26 kg; 75.74, 86.07, 71.25, 74.51, 72.71 g olarak belirlenmiştir. Hindilerin besi süresince günlük ortalama yem tüketimleri 449.98, 402.38, 397.19, 409.79, 418.23 g, 1 kg canlı ağırlık artışı için yem tüketimleri ise 6.146, 5.705, 5.722, 5.794, 6.203 kg olarak saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda hindi besi rasyonlarına yem katkı maddesi olarak sodyum bikarbonat katmanın yemden yararlanma oranını iyileştirdiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca hindilerde kesimhane ağırlığı ve karkas ağırlığının arttığı, abdominal yağlanmanın azaldığı belirlenmiştir.
The research was carried out to determine effects of diets suplied with % 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.0 sodium bicarbonate respectively on fattening performance and carcass characteristics of male Betina X Bronz cross-bred. Turkeys conducted to intensive fattening. The trial was carried out with 200 turkeys alloted to five groups for 98 days. Initial liveweights of groups vere between 3.6 - and 3.8 kg, final weight and average daily liveweight gain of the groups were 10.95, 10.67, 10.57, 10.64, 10.26 kg, 75.74, 86.07, 71.25, 74.51 and 72.71 g respectively. Average daily feed consumption and feed consumption for 1 kg of liveweight gain of the groups were determined as 449.98, 402.38, 397.19, 409.79 and 418.23 g; 6.146, 5.705, 5.722, 5.794 and 6.203 kg. It has been determined that sodium bicarbonate increased feed efficiency In additicn slaughter weight and carcass weight of the groups which consumed sodiumbicarbonate were increased however abdominal fat concentration was decreased.
