Abstract
Acil Servis (AS) çalışanları Delici/Kesici Alet Yaralanması (DKAY) sonucunda bulaşıcı hastalık riskiyle karşılaşmaktadırlar.

A total of 326 participants (183 female and 143 male) attended in the study and there was no difference between the hospitals according to gender distribution (p> 0.05). It was seen that the most injured group was Nurse-EMT-Paramedic (58.1%) and the most common cause of injury was the injector needle. Also it was observed that injuries happened mostly on weekdays and morning hours. The frequency of this injuries for health workers is high especially in ES, which may be related to difficult working conditions.
