Abstract
Hz. Muhammed’in tebliğine baktığımızda da, onun eski Arap toplumunun bütün uygulamalarını reddedip devrimci bir yaklaşımla yepyeni bir toplum kurmak yerine, sosyal akışkanlığa paralel bir strateji taşıdığını görürüz.
Society is such a unit that while it changes constantly it maintains its unique character through a system of checks and balances. If society experiences some sort of a sudden break in this process of change, which we call social fluidity, there occurs chaos. Implementation of practical teachings of religions that have ethical and doctrinal concerns takes place generally by considering this fluidity. When looked at the way in which the Prophet of Islam went about propagating his message, we realize that instead of opposing, like a revolutionary, the whole practice of the-pre-Islamic society, he followed a strategy that was in accordance with the assumptions of the notion of social fluidity.
