Bursa Enarlı Zaviyesi Şeyhi Seyyid Mehmed Efendi ve manzum hac menâzilnâmesi

Abstract

Klasik Türk Edebiyatı nazım türlerinden biri hac menâzilnâmeleridir. Menâzilnâmelerde şair, hacı adaylarına seyahat güzergâhında yer alan menzillerin (konakların) su ve yiyecek durumu, bir önceki menzile mesafesi, insanlarının özellikleri gibi bilgilerini verir. Bu eserler Osmanlı coğrafyasının fizikî ve beşerî yapısı hakkında doğrudan bilgiler içerdikleri için oldukça önemlidir. Almanya Milli Kütüphanesi numara ms. or. oct. 1602’de kayıtlı el yazması nüshada Seyyid mahlaslı bir şair tarafından yazılmış menazilnâme türünde bir eser vardır. 1110 (1698/99) yılında yazılan eser, bu tarihten sekiz sene sonra vefat eden, Bursa Enarlı Zaviyesi Şeyhi Seyyid Mehmed Efendi tarafından kaleme alındığı izlenimi vermektedir. Mesnevî nazım şekliyle yazılan Manzum Hac Menazilnâmesi 145 beyitten meydana gelmiştir. Aruzun üç farklı uzun kalıbıyla yazılmıştır. Hac yolculuğunun ÜsküdarŞam etabında yer alan otuz yedi, Şam-Fâtıma Vadisi kısmında bulunan otuz altı konağı hakkında bilgiler içermektedir. Eser, menzil bilgilerinin yanı sıra yazıldığı dönemde cereyân eden adam kayırma, ahlâkî yozlaşma, rüşvet gibi sosyal ve idarî sorunları açıklıkla dile getirmesi, dinî-tasavvufî ve ahlâkî mesajlar içermesiyle diğer menâzilnâme örneklerinden ayrılmaktadır.

One of the poetry types in Classical Turkish literature is the hadj accomodation books. The poet in the accomodation books informs about the destinations’ water and food situation on the travel routes, their distance to the previous destination, the people’s features to the prospective pilgrims. These works are very important because they include the direct information about Ottoman geography’s physical and human features. These is a work in the type of accomodation book which was written by a poet in the pen name of Seyyid in the manuscript copy which is recorded in German National Library with the number of ms.or.oct. 1602. This work which was written in 1110 (1698/99) gives the impression that it was written by Seyyid Mehmet who was the sheikh in Enarlı’s small islamic monastery in Bursa and died eight years later from the date. The Poetic Hadj Accomodation Book which was written in the masnavi verse form consisted of 145 couplets. It was written with the prosody’s three different long patterns. The information was included about thirty seven inns on UskudarDamascus stage and thirty six inns on Damascus-Fatima Valley during the hadj travel. The work is different from the samples of other accomodation books as it mentions clearly on the social-executive problems about the aberration of scholars and rulers in the period when it was written, the favouritism, the moral corruption, bribery, and it includes the religious-sufistic and moral messages besides the destination information.
