Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrencilerin Bursa Uludağ üniversitesi, Felsefe bölümünü tercih etme nedenlerini ortaya çıkartmaktır. Çalışmanın örneklemini, Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören, 86 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilere daha önce geliştirilen anket uygulanmıştır. Bu anket sonuçları SPSS ile analiz edilmiştir. Bağımsız örneklemeler T testi kullanılarak kişilik özellikleri ve felsefe eğitimi alt faktörlerinin cinsiyet değişkeni ile aralarında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Fakat meslek bilgisi alt faktörü ile cinsiyet değişkeni arasından anlamlı bir fark olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır (t=2,38; p<,05). Anlamlı çıkan bu farklılığın ise kadınlar lehine olduğu sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Katılımcıların, ÖSYM sınavı sonucunda yaptıkları tercih sayısı anketten edilen faktörler arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılmasında tek yönlü ANOVA kullanılmış ve TUKEY testi sonucuna göre meslek bilgisi, kişilik özellikleri (f(3,82)=3,8, p>,05) ve felsefe eğitimi f(3,82)=4,33 p>,05) alt faktörlerine ilişkin tercih sırası arasından anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi’ni tercih etme nedenine ilişkin bulguların analizinde, One Way ANOVA, TUKEY testi kullanılmıştır. Bu test sonucuna göre, kişilik özellikleri (f(4,81)=2,22, p>,05) , felsefe eğitimi f(4,81)=,15 p>,05) ve meslek bilgisi f(4,81)=2,38, p>,05) Faktörleri ile Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesini tercih etme nedeni arasından anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır.
The aim of this study is to reveal the reasons why students prefer Bursa Uludağ University, Philosophy Department. The sample of the study consisted of 86 students studying at Bursa Uludağ University. A previously developed questionnaire was applied to the students. These survey results were analyzed with SPSS. By using the independent samples t test, no significant difference was found between the personality traits and philosophy education sub-factors and the gender variable. However, it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the occupational knowledge sub-factor and the gender variable (t=2.38; p<.05). It was concluded that this significant difference was in favor of women. One-way ANOVA was used to investigate the relationship between the number of choices made by the participants as a result of the Osym exam and the factors obtained from the questionnaire, and according to the results of the TUKEY test, professional knowledge, personality traits (f(3.82)=3.8, p>.05) and philosophy education f( It was found that there was no significant difference between the order of preference for the sub-factors 3.82)=4.33 p>.05). One Way ANOVA, Tukey test was used in the analysis of the findings regarding the reason for choosing Bursa Uludağ University.
