Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’nın gençlere yönelik inanç temalı basılı dinî yayınları üzerine nitel bir araştırma

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’nın gençlere yönelik hazırladığı inanç temalı basılı dinî yayınların incelenmesini ve değerlendirilmesini hedefleyen bir alan araştırmasıdır. Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı, geçmişten bugüne toplumun birçok kesimine hitap eden yayınlar hazırlamaktadır. Bu muhatap kitlelerinden biri de gençlerdir. Özellikle son yıllarda, diğer yayınlara paralel olarak, gençlere yönelik basılı yayınlarda da artış gözlemlenmektedir. Farklı temalarla yayımlanan bu eserler içerisinden inanç temalı yayınlar, çalışmamızın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada kullanılan temel materyal ise; Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’nın gençlik yayınlarından olan “Niçin İnanıyorum? (Editör: Fatih KURT)” adlı kitaptır. Çalışmada, araştırma metodu olarak bilimsel yöntemlerden nitel araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, inanç gelişimi ana hatlarıyla oluştuğu düşünülen ve dine bakış ve yorumları açısından birbirinden farklı olduğu varsayılan 15 kişilik bir örneklem grubu ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Görüşmeye katılanlar, farklı fakültelerde öğrenim görmekte olan üniversite öğrencileridir. Durum incelemesi deseninde gerçekleştirilen araştırmamızda, yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat formu kullanılmıştır. Bireysel görüşme ve odak görüşmesi teknikleri ile toplanan veriler, betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yoluyla çözümlenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde ise MAXQDA 12 nitel veri analiz programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünü; “Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı ve Yayıncılık Faaliyetleri”,“Gençlik Dönemi ve İnanç” ile “Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’nın Gençlere Yönelik Yayıncılık Faaliyetleri” başlıklarının ele alındığı kavramsal ve teorik çerçeve oluşturmaktadır. Yöntemin ele alındığı ikinci bölümden sonra ise bulgular ve yorumlardan oluşan sonbölüme geçilmiştir. Bu bölümde, üniversite öğrencileri ile yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler ışığında; gençlere yönelik hazırlanan inanç temalı yayınların önemi ve gerekliliği, gençlerin bu konudaki beklenti ve tavsiyeleri, yayınların geliştirilebilir yönlerinin tespiti hedeflenmiştir. Bu kapsamda konu ile ilgili görüş ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.This study is a field research that aims to examine and evaluate the faith-themed printed religious publications prepared by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for young people. The Presidency of Religious Affairs has been preparing publications that appeal to many segments of society from past to present. One of these addressees is young people. Especially in recent years, an increase has been observed in printed publications aimed at young people, in parallel with other publications. Among these works published with different themes, faith-themed publications constitute the subject of our study. The basic material used in the research is; "Why Do I Believe?", one of the youthpublications of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Editor: Fatih KURT)”. In the study,qualitative research method, one of the scientific methods, was adopted as the researchmethod. In this context, in-depth interviews were conducted with a sample group of 15 people who were thought to have developed their faith in general terms and who were assumed to be different from each other in terms of their views and interpretations of religion. Participants in the interview are university students studying at different faculties. In our research conducted in a case study design, a semi-structured interview form was used. Data collected through individual interview and focus interview techniques were analyzed through descriptive analysis and content analysis. MAXQDA 12 qualitative dataanalysis program was used to analyze the data. The first part of the research; It creates a conceptual and theoretical framework in which the titles of "Presidency of Religious Affairs and Publishing Activities", "Youth Period and Faith" and "Publishing Activities of the Presidency of Religious Affairs for Young People" are discussed. After the second part, where the method is discussed, the last part consists of findings and comments. In this section, in the light of data obtained from interviews with university students; The aim is to determine the importance and necessity of faith-themed publications prepared for young people, the expectations and recommendations of young people on this subject, and the aspects of the publications that can be improved. In this context, opinions and suggestions on the subject are included.
