Abstract
Yaşam dünyasını oluşturan insani fenomenlerin, modern doğa bilimlerinin bilimselliğe getirdiği ölçütlerle açıklanamaması, yeni bir bilimin temellendirilmesini zorunlu kılmıştır. Bu temellendirme girişimlerinin belki de en önemli örneği, W. Dilthey'ın tin bilimlerine yönelik çabasıdır. Hermeneutiği, tin bilimlerinin yöntemi olarak belirleyen Dilthey, yine de modern bilimin deneyci çıkış noktasına ve tümelci açıklama modeline kısmen sadık kalır. Bu sadakatinden olsa gerek Dilthey, bazı epistemolojik sınırlar uyarınca bunu gerçekleştirir. Dilthey için hermeneutiğin dayandığı temel kavramlar olan tekilliğin ve tarihselliğin durduğu yerin, bu sınırılarla ilişkisi önemli bir sorundur. Bu iki kavram, birer epistemolojik kategori olarak Dilthey'ın düşüncesinde önemli bir yere sahip olsa da, burada asıl üzerinde durulan söz konusu bu kavramlara getirilen epistemolojik sınırların, tin bilimlerinin temellendirilmesindeki başarısı değil; bizzat bu başarının da arkasında yer alan ontolojik vurgudur. Geçekten de hermenutiğin bir yöntem olarak değeri, insan doğasının bütünselliğinde yer alan ontolojik köklerindedir. Öyle ki, tarihselliğin ve tekilliğin epistemolojik görüntüsünden değil de ontolojik doğasından hareket etmek, hermeneutiğin temellendirilmesi konusunda çok daha önemlidir.
That human phenomena which constitute the Lebenswelth (life-world) can not be explained by the scientific criteria that modern natural sciences have produced was required to founding and justifying a new science. The most significant instance of these attempts is W. Dilthey's efforts about Geisteswissenschaften (Human Sciences). However, Dilthey who determines the hermeneutics as mothod of Geisteswissenschaften has partly accepted and kept the experimental point of departure of modern sciences as well as general model of explanation in modern science. İt is because of his loyalty to modern science that Dilthey occurs that determination with respect to some epitemological limits. For Dilthey, it is a major problem that the relation the both of individuality and historicty as basic concepts on which hermeneutics stands with these limits. Despite the fact that these two concept as epistemological categories are very essential in Dilthey's thougth, the main point of this study is to set forth the ontological foundations is in behind also epistemological limits. In fact, the value of hermeneutics as a mothod lies in the ontological roots of the totality of man's nature. Accordingly, in order to founding and justifying hermeneutics, departing from the ontological nature of historicty and individuality precedes the epistemological onces.
