Abstract
Betimleyici bir tarzda organize edilmiş olan bu çalışmada girişimcilik, iş ahlakı, narsizm, püriten ahlak ve hedonizm tanıtılarak bu kavramlar arasındaki ilişkiler İstanbul'daki muhafazakâr iş adamlarının yoğunlukta olduğu iki iş adamı derneğinin içerisinde araştırılmış ve araştırmanın hipotezlerinin doğrulanması yoluna gidilmiştir.Çalışma İstanbul Fatih'te ağırlıklı olarak muhafazakâr iş adamlarının üye olduğunu bir işadamı derneğinin katkılarıyla uygulanmıştır. İşadamlarına 225 anket dağıtılmış çeşitli nedenlerle bunların 189 tanesi değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Anketlerin geri dönüş oranı yüzde 84 oranında gerçekleşmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonuçlarını genellemenin yanlış olabilme ihtimali vardır. Bulgular değerlendirilirken bu gerçek göz ardı edilmemelidir.Bu araştırmanın bulguları ile muhafazakâr iş adamlarının değerleri saptanarak, iş hayatına yönelik yaklaşımları ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. İş adamlarının kendi değerlerini bilimsel bir analizle öğrenebilmeleri sonucunda, kendilerinde var olan ve görmek isteyecekleri özellikler konusunda fikir edinmeleri hedeflenmiştir. Ayrıca, Muhafazakar Türk Girişimcisi'nin Değerleri'ni saptamak için yapılacak diğer araştırmalara da veri sağlanmış olacaktır.Araştırmada iki veya daha çok değişken arasında, birlikte değişim varlığını veya derecesini belirlemeye çalışan ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Muhafazakâr İşadamlarının uyumlulukları , geleneklere bağlılıkları, yardımseverlikleri, evrensellikleri, kendi kendini yönetebilme özellikleri, açık fikirli ve hazcı olup olmadıkları, başarı istekleri ile güç ve güvenlik tutkuları saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın örneklemdeki Muhafazakar Türk girişimcisinin uyumluluklarının yüksek olduğu, geleneklere bağlı oldukları, yardımsever oldukları, evrenselliklerinin diğer özelliklerine oranla daha düşük olduğu, kendi kendilerini idare edebilme özelliklerinin düşük olduğu, hazcı olmadıkları, başarı tutkuların çok ön planda olmadığı gibi özellikleri tespit edilmiştir.
In this research which was organized in a descriptive way, entrepreneurship,business ethics, narcicism, puritan ethics and hedonism were introduced andthe relations between these concepts were analysed in Ystanbul, in twobusinessmen associations where conservative businessmen constituted themajority and hypothesis of the research were tried to be verified.The research was conducted with the contribution of a businessmenassociation in Ystanbul, Fatih of which the members are mainly conservativebusinessmen. 225 surveys were distrubuted to the businessmen and 189 ofthese were taken into evaluation because of various reasons. The proportionof the surveys received back was 84%. The generalization of the results ofthis survey may tum out to be wrong. This should be taken intoconsideration while evaluating the findings'Through the findings of this research the values of the businessmen wereascertained and their approach to the business life were attempted to be putforward. The businessmen's getting an idea of the feautures they possess andthey could want to possess, by leaming their values through a scientificanalysis was determined as the goal of the research' Moreover, this willprovide data for other reserches which will be conducted to ascertain TheValues of Conservative Turkish Entrepreneur'The relational scanning model which tries to determine the existence or thedegree of changing together of two or more variables' The businessmen'scompatibility, traditionalism, helpfulness, universality, their ability tomanage themselves, stimulation, their being hedonist or not, their will tosucceed and their passion for power and security were tried to beascertained. The sample Conservative Turkish Entrepreneur was found out tobe highly compatible, traditionalist, helpfut' Their level of universalityturned out to be law compared to their other features. It was found out thattheir ability to manage themselves was low' that they were not hedonist andthat their passion for success was not on the forefront
